How do I burn a power point presentation to a disk on a MacBook computer?

I made a large powerpoint for our water polo banquet, and I put music to it as well. I’d like to burn it to a CD, but I can’t burn the actual presentation. When I save it as a powerpoint movie, the music is all messed up and the slides don’t transition well. How can I make it work? I’ve never used Power Point on a Mac before, and I need to make 30 copies of the show to hand out to all the athletes and their families. Please help!!

Some aspects you need to pay attention to:
1. You can not burn PowerPoint to DVD directly with out third party software, because PowerPoint is not MPEG-2 Video formats which you can burn to disc directly with common burning software, you need certain software to convert your PowerPoint to MPEG-2 or that software has the function of burning PowerPoint to DVD directly

2. Burn PowerPoint to DVD or disc, in fact, there commonly two steps, first convert to a certain video such as MPEG-2, then burn the video to disc.
And there are some software can do this at a time

3. Put the music and the PowerPoint in the same folder, in a word, everything in the same folder to make sure you burn PowerPoint to DVD with animations, transitions and audio track retained.

Now, you need to find great software to burn your PowerPoint to DVD.

If you search through Yahoo, you may find so many software suggestions about PowerPoint to DVD and PPT to DVD, I don’t know which one is the best solution, but I know basic features of the software should have
1. Fast to load
The program should load as quickly as possible so that the user receives a quick response after inserting the DVD into the drive or DVD player.
2. Full inform
The user should be provided with information about who created the DVD and what it contains.
3. Easy navigation
Leave it up to DVD viewers to decide which presentation they want to watch and in what order. You can also give your users the option to watch a presentation again or to skip it.
4. Conversion Speed
I know it’s a long time when you are converting a large size PowerPoint. We do hope the software do things quickly and we can even minimize program to do other tasks during the process.
5. Video Quality
The Video quality I mentioned here refers to three things: Definition, Size, and Compatibility.
Definition and Size means that when you are watching your PowerPoint on TV, it should be clear enough and the video size should fit to the screen. Compatibility enables you to play the DVD on different DVD player. It is better for you to play your DVD presentation on most popular DVD Players.
