How To Make A White Cotton Shirt Smaller?
I Just Bought A Medium Shirt At Polo. How Can I Shrink The Size Because I Wear Small And Need It For School Tomorrow. Please I can’t sow and rip it on the sides. Can Anyone Please Tell Me How to wash it or dry. Please also tell me if i can put it in the sink with very hot water and dry it in the dryer. THANKS!!
ok first check if the shirt says preshrunk in it. if it does, your pretty much screwed. if it doesnt, wash it on hot and dry it on high and hot. all you have to do is place them in the
washer on the highest temperature setting, wash. Then place them in the dryer on the highest temperature setting, and let them stay in the dryer for a while after the cycle is over, that should shrink it.

How To Wash a Shirt
As polo lovers, you don’t want to see your newly bought polo shirt creased or faded after you wash it. I purchased this polo for my boyfriend to wear when he goes golfing and it really is an amazing product with extremely high quality. These are great shirts! My boyfriend don’t have much golf cloth—he’s worn the same style Levis for as long as I know him，because he’s never swayed by trends or fancy marketing, his opinion is generally reliable. He loved the polo shirts for the first sight, and those shirts became his favorite shirts. They’re sturdy, but soft; professional, but comfortable; and you can wear them with just about anything through three seasons.Today I’ll share my ways of washing and maintaining polo shirts.
Step 1
Pretreat stains on your polo shirts before laundering. Apply laundry pretreatment product to the stain and allow it to sit according to manufacturer’s instructions. Use only cold water to presoak stained items since hot water can set some stains.
Step 2
Sort laundry by like colors and add the polo shirts to the sorted piles that best represent their colors.
Step 3
Place the load of laundry, including your polo shirts, into the washing machine and add detergent according to manufacturer’s instructions. If the shirt has a protein stain, such as one caused by food or bodily fluids, wash it in cold water. If the shirt is not stained, set the washer for a warm water wash and cold rinse.
Step 4
Check the polo shirt to make sure it is clean before putting it in the dryer, since hot temperatures can set some stains. If the shirt remains stained, retreat and relaunder before drying.
Step 5
Dry the load of laundry including the polo shirt in the dryer set to a low temperature to reduce shrinking. Remove the shirt from the dryer promptly to reduce wrinkling.

Why do my clothes get loose as time progresses?
Such as polos, jeans, t-shirts, and some sweaters use to just fit on me. Meaning it’s just right not too tight or loose. I wash my clothes in warm water, so I don’t know why they are all getting more loose. Hot makes clothing tighter and cold probably makes it more loose.
When I bought new jeans, it was just right and I did not need a belt but after washing it, I needed a belt after wards. What is happening?
Everytime you dry your clothes, you’re weakening the spandex in them, so they don’t have as much stretch to them.. the stretch just collapses and the clothes become looser.
When you get jeans, make sure they’re a size smaller……
Those overpriced jeans like Rock n Republics, Citizens, Sevens, etc are 98% cotton and 2% spandex.. when I buy them, I buy them so they barely button up hahaa, because they STRETCH right after the first wash..
I also hang dry them and I try not to put them in the dryer (the whole weakening of the spandex issue).
My friend is like you and gets the jeans from the store fitting just right. She ends up having to put them in the dryer to shrink them abit before she wears them, but again, that weakens the spandex and weakens the quality……..
Basically just hang dry your clothes and/or get them a size smaller… (but then the only issue is with the tops via them being SHORTER.. but if the tops themselves are long to begin with, just get them a size smaller)
